Hello! My name is Sydney Collins and I am the Assistant Director of Graphic Design for Air Force Athletics. Although my title is specifically related to graphic design, I do a combo of both graphic design and photography. With a background in design, it has been fun to experiment in the sports photography world and it has become one of my favorite elements of the job!

I graduated in 2025 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a BFA in graphic design and two minors in both business and media. My time in college was where I discovered a passion for creating in the realm of sports. My internships with Illini Athletics and Illini Football allowed me to find and explore my passion, while developing skills that were crucial to my future success.

I have a strong knowledge and love of sports—having played many growing up—and have expanded on that in recent years. I enjoy the process of utilizing brand guidelines to create effective media in order to grow the fanbase of a team or organization.

Outside of work, I love reading, the outdoors, good restaurants, and animals—my favorite of which is my dog, Clover!
